bio

My days are spent as head of a medical technology research and development lab. In what time is left over, I tinker, build, contemplate and study industry. Though currently working in biotech, I’m not wired to focus on one sector. Instead, I prefer to apply my skills to those areas that are most important to me: medicine, ecology, and aerospace and draw my creativity through natural systems. I strongly believe there is an unexplored symbiosis between human innovation and our environment and I seek to drive that intersection. My deepest ambition lies in the quantifiable improvement of the human condition - either through direct intervention in biodesign and augmentation or indirectly through research and writing.
